Azzo Rovescalli began playing the violin at a very young age and then moved to Milan to study at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Music. It was in Milan that he began his training as a young luthier, influenced by Leandro Bisiach where he spends some periods to learn. Later he moved to Romeo Antoniazzi’s workshop where he will stay thirteen years to complete his training as a luthier.

Naturally his style is influenced for the most part by Antoniazzi’s work, for which he has worked for a long time.

This violin is an example of Rovescalli’s best work. It has original label and inside there are author’s signatures.
